The persistent rumors about a relationship between Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster have just been confirmed. The couple, all smiles, walked hand in hand through the streets of Santa Monica.

This revelation follows months of speculation about their romance.
In photos obtained by “People” magazine, Hugh Jackman, 56, and Sutton Foster, 49, stroll while holding hands after dinner in Santa Monica on January 6. Two days earlier, Hugh Jackman came to applaud Sutton Foster who was performing on stage in “Once Upon a Mattress” in Los Angeles.
Elements which would testify to their affair have been carefully recorded in recent months. The couple starred together in the Broadway show “The Music Man” in 2022. In September 2023, Hugh Jackman and his wife of twenty-seven years, Deborra-Lee Furness, released a joint statement confirming that they were divorcing. In October 2024, it was Sutton Foster who filed for divorce from her husband of ten years, Ted Griffin.
In June 2024, Sutton Foster told “People” that Hugh Jackman was “one of the best guys ever, an incredible partner.” She told Seth Meyers, “The show is so joyous, and I’m having the time of my life playing alongside this guy.”
As for Hugh Jackman, he gushed about his co-star: “She’s an actress who has been nominated for the Tony Awards six times and won twice. (…) I watched everything she did. It’s incredible.”
