Listening data from December 31 | Bye bye slightly down, Live… shatters a record

Yes, yes Bye bye 2024 generally did not please television critics, the show reached an impressive 91% of the audience for the third year in a row, with a preliminary figure of 3,013,000 people in front of their screen. In 2023, with the same share of listening, the Bye bye had been followed by more people: 3,316,000.

However, Behind the scenes of Bye byebroadcast around 12:30 a.m., increased its market share. It went from 74% to 79% this year. The show reached an audience of 1,178,000 people, compared to 1,268,000 in 2023.

Live from New Year’s Day

It is the excellent Live from New Year’s Day which opened this television show, in front of a record audience of 2,253,000 people, or 73% viewing share. In comparison, 1,841,000 people were tuning in in 2023 (57% of the market).

Live from New Year’s Day surpassed its previous record which was 1,998,000 on December 31, 2020, in full confinement during the pandemic.

The musical show hosted by Beaudoin brought together four diverse guests this year around its turntable: Louis Morissette, Marthe Laverdière, Patricia Paquin and Alexandre Aussant (aka Mona de ).
