The partners of the Haute Vallée de l’Aude Precarious Health Network met in a plenary meeting in the room of the former Sivom.

During these meetings, health and social actors, volunteers or professionals, discussed local news and developed their collaborations. On the agenda, the creation of the Vallée en santé association which aims for a partnership and participatory approach to health.

The meeting also made it possible to prepare the 6th edition of the “Let’s Talk Health” day which will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday November 26 in Couiza, Robert-Capdeville space, a particularly rich edition thanks to partnership work.

On the program are information, advice and screening stands on various themes such as nutrition, physical activity, diabetes screening, oral health, well-being, cancer prevention with distribution of colorectal cancer screening kits and reissue invitation letters for mammography if necessary, visual screenings, health of women with a bust for breast self-palpation, addictions, screening for sexually transmitted infections, etc. By registration until Friday November 15, CPAM11 social security holders will be able to benefit from a preventive examination including blood test, electrocardiogram, etc.

Throughout the day, activities will be organized: introduction to Nordic walking from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., workshop on stress management through creativity from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., introduction to gymnastics around the chair from 11:30 a.m. at 12:30 p.m. and an automation workshop from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and throughout the day an introduction to life-saving actions will be proposed.
