VIDEO – The actor and director was a close friend of the interpreter of Jean-Claude Dusse who died in the night from Thursday to Friday at the age of 72.

In 2019, Michel Blanc declared on Europe 1 “not having many close friends with whom I have a bond like I have with Jean-Paul in this profession. There are the goons from Splendid and there is Jean-Paul Rouve”. This Saturday, October 5, the latter pays tribute to him in “C l’hebdo”.

“He’s my friend.”declares Jean-Paul Rouve in the 5 talk show. “I want to call him, tell him what’s going on, it seems that you’re dead”says the one who still has difficulty talking about his friend in the past tense. With tears in his eyes, he remembers the filming they shared on the set of Aurélie Casse. The Cadors, Memories, The New Adventures of Aladdin or even The Tuches. Sometimes one led the other, sometimes the opposite. “We didn’t write together, that’s my only regret”notes Jean-Paul Rouve this evening. “We did all the combinations except this one”.

We come from the same world, we have a bit of the same background.

Jean-Paul Rouve on Michel Blanc

“He was a great actor, a great director and a great dialogue writer. We talked on the phone a lot. He made me laugh a lot. He knew how to make fun of himself a lot. He played a lot of his hypochondriac side. When I called him, I planned an hour because he would talk to you about something, he would digress and he would tell you about his life, what he had eaten the day before and why he had not digested it well.he remembers.

“We come from the same world, we have a bit of the same background. The Splendid we didn’t give them roles, they created their roles. We did the same with Robin Hood. Then we became actors, then we made films”continues Jean-Paul Rouve before adding with a smile: “and then, he liked to have an aperitif”.

The interpreter of Jean-Claude Dusse died in the night from Thursday to Friday in hospital of a heart attack. “Damn Michel, what did you do to us”published on Instagram Gérard Jugnot to announce the sad news. Michel Blanc was 72 years old.
