“It’s the only flaw in the program”: Michael Goldman reveals the point that bothers him about Star Academy

While the Star Academy is going to make his big comeback on TF1, Michael Goldman, the promotion director, revealed that a detail bothered him in the flagship talent show, even if he greatly appreciates his role in the program.

It’s soon off again for a ride. On October 12, the lights of the castle of Dammarie-Les-Lys will come back on to welcome the new promotion of the Star Academy. Eight months after the coronation of Pierre Garnier, who will succeed him in the famous TF1 talent show? You will have to have a little patience to be clear about it, especially since viewers don’t even know all the candidates yet. Like every year, a few were nevertheless presented to them in advance, including Marine, a 24-year-old dental surgery student that some have already seen younger in another flagship singing competition on the front page. But while viewers will have to get used to new faces in the castle corridors, this will also be the case within the teaching staff!

As the production announced, several emblematic professors of the Star Academy will give up their place this season. Exit Adeline Toniutti, Coach Joe, Cécile Chaduteau and Pierre de Brauer, who will have respectively been replaced by Sofia Morgavi, Ladji Doucouré, Marlène Schaff and Hugues Hamelynck. As for the seat of promotion director, it is always Michel Goldman who will occupy it, for the third consecutive season. It must be said that the son of the immense Jean-Jacques Goldman takes pleasure in playing mentors for the new generation, even if he admits that certain aspects bother him…

Director Michael Goldman reveals the detail that bothers him in the Star Academy

During an interview given to 7 Days TVMichael Goldman made some confidences about the new promotion of the Star Academydont This year the students are aged between 18 and 24 years old. “During the castings, I experienced a phenomenon that I hoped for and which delighted me: I saw candidates arrive who had absolutely no background in music, who really came out of their rooms. Pure diamonds raw! It’s a treat for me who loves both discovering talents and seeing them dream.”explained the founder of My Major Company. Our colleagues then asked him if, because of his rather discreet and modest nature“, it had him”cost” to reveal himself on the show. And precisely: this is the point that bothers Caroline Goldman’s brother.

“I was going to say: it’s the only onedefault’ of the program! (Smile) If I was asked to be director of Star Academy without cameras all my life, I would sign straight away! Yes, of course it costs… But I’m lucky not to have started from nothing. Notoriety, I grew up with it. She was around me and I was able to observe her. What is certain is that I refuse to play a role for the show, I don’t want to be someone elsefrankly recognized the one who would live a beautiful story with Lucie Bernardoni. So much the better, because viewers don’t dream of anyone else in his place!
