While he faces a lot of criticism in France after the controversy, Kylian Mbappé received praise from his teammate at Real Madrid, Federico Valverde. In an interview given to France Footballthe Uruguayan says to himself “impressed” by the French international. “He’s impressive. We already know he’s a world-class player. One of the best in the world. I’m happy that he’s at Real Madrid, it’s a huge satisfaction. It’s a joy to be able to share the field with him. I suffered against him and PSG, I suffered against France, with my selection”.
“As a person, he is incredible”even smiles Valverde. He continues: “I think not only did a lot of people come at him, talk about him, saying he couldn’t come here, that there would be conflicts. He shut it all down and proved he was a spectacular person.”. A beautiful tribute.
