Sergio Perez (Red Bull) admits thinking about leaving Formula 1
Subject to all the rumors until his extension in June with Red Bull, Sergio Perez briefly thought about leaving Formula 1. The Mexican driver (34) confided this in an interview with DAZN while the season is on pause until the United States Grand Prix on the weekend of October 20. “Over the last six months, I have thought about it (retired) but it took me three seconds to make the opposite decision. It would have been the easy choice to give up after so many years and I would never have forgiven myself for it,” says “Checo”.
