6th ROUND OF THE REGIONAL CYCLO CROSS CHALLENGE, Hugo ANTUNES 6th
For Hugo, a new meeting was held in the Doubs department for the 6th round of the Bourgogne Franche Comté regional Cyclocross challenge.
A circuit comprising several technical passages around the Florence Baverel stadium and with winter weather conditions (-5°C) was the setting for this 6th round.
Hugo ANTUNES will have a very good start allowing him to place himself in third place.
Unfortunately a severe fall resulting in an injury to his left knee forced Hugo to dismount and have difficulty getting back into the saddle. Despite his efforts Hugo ANTUNES will only catch up one of his delays and will therefore cross the line in sixth position
CYCLO CROSS from ANSE (Rhône) A great place for Fabrice BOST
8th in the cyclo cross of Anse (69) won by the French champion Clément Venturini on a very fast and diverse course including a sand passage. After a good start Fabrice managed to hang onto a group with which the 8th place was up for grabs.
It was Clément Venturini (Arkéa-B&B Hôtels) who won, this Sunday, the cyclo-cross of the Colombier lake in Anse (Rhône) which served as support for the Ain/Rhône championships. The French Champion is ahead of Matteo Vercher (Total Energie) and Sébastien Hoareau (VC Villefranche Beaujolais). Clément Venturini thus succeeds Antony Chamerat-Dumont on the list of winners.
Great performance for our Creusetin in this event which brought together a great range of champions
CYCLO CROSS of Dole Mathieu PERROUX in the middle of the table
This Sunday took place the Cyclo-cross from Dole to Crissey.
After a good start on the third row, Mathieu PERROUX managed to take the lead group and move into 8th at the exit of the tarmac section.
The very high pace of the first 4 laps forced Mathieu to slow down by dropping to 14th place over the last 3 laps, a position he would keep until the finish.
CYCLO CROSS from NEVERS to MAGNICOURT (58)
On a circuit without great difficulty but with a high level in terms of participants, Fabien DAUVILLAIRE is the author of a good start in the top 5.
But the intensity at the start of the event leaves its mark and Fabien only recovers in the middle of the race to regain pace allowing him to stay in the top 20, finishing in 19th place.
Florian Auroux (Guidon chalettois) won this cyclo-cross in Magny-Cours (Nièvre), organized by the CC Varennes-Vauzelles and support for the third round of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté cyclo-cross Cup. He beat Mathis Tarbouriech (CC Étupes) and Titouan Margueritat (Team Atria-Montluçon Cyclisme).
Florian Auroux succeeds Maxime Girardin on the list.
