The 15th edition of this day dedicated to cyclo-cross in Saint Martin l’Astier, masterfully organized by the Beaupied family, the inhabitants of the town and the Saint Martin en Fête association with the appreciated help of Mr. the mayor. no gap….., except this year the erosion of participation.

And yet what about the weather? 25°! fresh water supply was authorized!

The population of the town had still more than doubled on October 13, 2024, and the organizers are already considering the 2025 edition with certainly more couriers at departures.

Today before the start of the Open Access race, a moment of applause was given in memory of the recently deceased champions, Jean Jacques Blancheton and Daniel Barjolin.

Open-Access

There was no suspense!

From the first minutes Mathieu Morichon, new recruit of Team CX , took the lead of the race, constantly increasing his lead over his pursuers.

Among these Killian Larpe resisted at a distance, preceding Pierre Mathieu Pellier, and the trio Martin-Diégo-Carreau- who decided in the 2th racing part.

Note the great performance of Gwenning Le Dantec.

Author of his 5th victory of the season which is only just beginning, Mathieu Morichon is considering his participation in the French Cups and perhaps further if his Team’s resources allow it.

The winner answering questions from Pierre Lajarthe in the presence of Serge Beaupied, with the deputy and Jean Luc Tomski the mayor.
