For the second time this season after the Roue Tourangelle last March, Angevin Jason Tesson (TotalEnergies) raised his arms at the finish of a race, during the 4e stage of the Taihu Lake Tour, in the Jiangsu region of China. The Frenchman beat the New Zealander Graeme Frislie (CCACHE x Par Küp) and the South African Reinardt Janse van Rensburg (China Glory – Mentech) after an eventful sprint.

A dream Saturday for TotalEnergies

The former Saint Michel-Auber 93 rider had been circling since the start of the event, having finished 6e13e then 5e of the first three stages. This is an extremely important success for Jason Tesson, with a view to a possible contract extension within the Vendée team.

TotalEnergies also had a very nice start to the weekend, since another of its men obtained a victory. Émilien Jeannière has indeed imposed himself on the 1re stage of the Tour of Kyushu in Japan, seizing the leader’s jersey at the same time. He was ahead of the British Lukas Nerurkar (EF Education-EasyPost) and the Dane Anthon Charmig (Astana Qazaqstan). His teammate Jordan Jegat ranks 4e.
