The Ministry of Health and Social Protection (MSPS) reported on Friday a total of 2 new cases of Covid-19 infection, without reporting any cases of death.
In its weekly bulletin on the epidemiological situation covering the period from October 5 to 11, the ministry specifies that the number of first-time vaccinated reached 24,925,027, that of people having received two doses amounts to 23,427,063, while 6,889 .780 people have had three injections of the vaccine and 61,584 have received the fourth dose.
The new weekly infection report brings the total number of contaminations to 1,279,437 since the first case reported in Morocco on March 2, 2020, with a weekly positivity rate of 1.1%.
The total number of deaths is still 16,309 (general case fatality 1.3%), while active cases number 3.
The new cases of infection were cases of infection were recorded in the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (01) and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (01).
