The EPS option at Beaulieu College is evolving after its creation following Covid-19. This year, it has 30 registered in 5e30 in 4e and 19 in 3e. Every year, the three teachers rack their brains to organize trips alternating between skiing and water. To innovate this year, they organized an integration and cohesion stay for the 5e.
Thanks to the partnerships of the towns of Joué-lès-Tours and Ballan-Miré, the schoolchildren experienced, from September 23 to 24, a complete course of activities: departure by mountain bike from the school, installation at the Mignardière campsite and Bretonnières, orienteering, canoeing at the nautical base, beach volleyball tournament and Gadawi Park to finish. Not to mention the flooding of some tents, after a very humid night.
In addition, on Wednesday September 25, 85 students met with their PE teachers and others for the Déconnathlon, a unifying event brought to the school in 2013-2014 by Rémy Goulao, supported by his colleagues Pascal and Maïthé Sassi. “I loved this gathering of students so much during my first year of study in Orléans that I proposed it here, at the college, he explains. We decided to use it to promote the sports association, but also as a moment of integration and cohesion. »
That afternoon, the atmosphere in the gymnasium was crazy and joyful. Everyone played the game and the disguises flourished, just to “have a laugh while practicing relays and sports games”. The theme is free and the moment, open to all, becomes completely festive to launch the year at AS.
