“There was a strange atmosphere in the streets. Everything was closed. And it sounded like a purge with the alarms and evacuations”
If the 25-year-old prefers to remember her experience of the Golden Globes from LA (see below), she does not hide the shock of what she experienced right after. “It was a little paradise, and then there were the flames. The contrast was therefore very poignant… In truth, I left just in time. What was weird was that there was a bit of an apocalyptic atmosphere in the streets. The sun was red, the sky was gray… It was very strange. And above all the wind, there is a sick wind! I thought I was going to fly away at one point.”
A Belgian who makes history
“A star that I take with me and I can’t wait to see what happens next and the other stars.” Sunday January 5, Shauna Dewit was in fact the first Belgian influencer to walk the red carpet at the Golden Globes. “I am extremely happy and honored, she tells us. It’s a real honor and I don’t quite realize it yet. It’s really lunar. And the one who is slowly recovering from her emotions, to share her evening in American dream mode: “I’m only beginning to realize that I still had the honor of speaking to Nicole Kidman, Pamela Anderson, and Alexandra Daddario, a great actress that I’ve been watching for years!” And were these Hollywood stars really as they imagined them to be? “There was really this American spiritshe confesses. We felt that it was very: ‘I’m going to talk to the press that interests me or I’m going to talk to no one because I’m already a giga star’. It was a bit like that at times but otherwise there were some really nice ones.” His most memorable encounter? Nicole Kidman. “She really took the time to talk to everyone and answer questions. I admire remaining humble like that, with such a career. Others, obviously, just made their way.”
One last anecdote? “I quickly got hit on by Matt Rife too! she smiled. Which was very, very funny, especially since he’s an actor that I adore and have followed for a long time.”
