Ingrid Chauvin attacked, she responds to her detractors

Very present on social networks, where she is used to publishing beauty tutorials, the 51-year-old actress, still starring in the series “Tomorrow belongs to us” on TF1, was thus the victim of ageism.

After sharing a video in which she tried a product from her makeup brand called “Madame Chauvin”, the one who was revealed in “Femme de loi”, between 2000 and 2007, in fact received inappropriate comments insinuating in particular that she was too wrinkled or that she had undergone cosmetic surgery.

« What are these wrinkles? » ; « Damn, she picked up » ; « What cosmetic surgery have you had? » ; « Why did you have injections in your lips? ”, we can read in certain comments from Internet users.

Certainly used to receiving this type of hateful messages, Ingrid Chauvin this time wanted to respond to her detractors.

In a video published on her Tiktok channel on December 31, she reacted by calling for more tolerance, while assuming her age.

“I find it a little sad in fact (…) what I wish us for 2025 would be a little bit of tolerance, a little bit of kindness. Ultimately, what do we care about looks? I'm a little over 50, so obviously I have little flaws, there are days when I look more or less well and that's how it is. It’s like everyone else and it’s normal” (Ingrid Chauvin)

Ingrid Chauvin then denounced this type of discrimination, while wishing the French a happy New Year.

“So yes, I have wrinkles, they are there, they exist (…) anyway, ultimately we don’t care. I just wish there was a little more respect. We can't discriminate against people like that: 'too old', 'too young', 'too thin' (…) it's absolutely abominable. If we could focus on, I don't know, maybe the beauty of the soul. Let’s try to elevate ourselves a little” (Ingrid Chauvin)

The best response from the actress who was also able to count on the support of her many followers.
