Marie-Claude Pietragallafamous dancer and choreographer, transforms on stage to embody the legendary singer Barbara.

In this show, she becomes the living reflection of the musical icon, transporting the audience into the poetic and melancholic universe of the singer.

Through each movement, each gesture and each expression, Marie-Claude Pietragalla reveals the depth of the emotions which marked Barbara’s . Her dance becomes a vibrant language, translating the artist’s iconic lyrics and melodies.

“She pierced my soul”

“Barbara pierced my soul with her whispers and transformed my daily life into poetry,” confesses Marie-Claude Pietragalla, who remembers an “October evening at the Châtelet. Unforgettable! An artist’s dressing room… His hand in mine, this wild, enigmatic presence. On stage, she flies, she takes flight.

From her piano to her rocking chair, she savors every moment, every breath, the silence of a room that vibrates in unison. Her slim silhouette dressed in black, this gait like a ballerina on demi-pointes, she observes her audience, an audience won over in advance.”

Marie-Claude Pietragalla was a ballet star at the National Opera from 1990 to 1998.
