While the Star Academy is coming to an end and the semi-finals are approaching (Charles and Marine will face each other on Saturday and Franck and Ebony the following week), TF1 is already preparing to launch the new season of another of its flagship programs: Dancing with the stars.
And little by little, the casting takes shape. After Sophie Davant and Adil Rami, a new personality has just been confirmed this Monday, January 6. It is about Mayaanea young actress with Down syndrome 20 years old who already had the chance to act in the film A little something extraproduced by Artus in 2024 and which was a great success (more than 10 million spectators!).
Mayane, a young actress with already a great career
Before revealing himself in A little something extraMayane had already participated in around ten filmings. Indeed, she notably appeared in the series HPI alongside Audrey Fleurot but also So far, so good with Nawell Madani.
At the same time, Mayane does improvisational theater and is very active on social networks, and more particularly on TikTok where she has more than 200,000 subscribers. Through her videos, she often addresses subjects such as difference and advocates inclusion.
The casting of Dancing with the Stars 2025 becomes clearer
Mayane thus joins the six other personalities announced before her in the casting of Dancing with the starsnamely the swimmer Florent Manaudou, the former footballer Adil Rami, the actress Charlotte de Turckheim, the ex-Miss France Eve Gilles, Sophie Davant and finally Lénie Vachercandidates from Star Academy in 2023. For now, however, no information has filtered around the dancers or the members of the jury. Camille Combal should, for her part, fill the role of host well.
