As soon as the trailer was published, Meghan Markle was accused of plagiarism, as reported Gala. Internet users have, in fact, noted numerous similarities between the duchess’s recipes and other already existing content. But that’s not all: they also noticed that some of the activities presented were dear to certain members of the British royal family. This is particularly the case of the extract where we see Meghan trying her hand at beekeeping. Yes, this is one of Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla’s favorite pastimes.

Concerning recipes, Internet users criticize Meghan Markle for not offering anything innovative. Indeed, the bruschetta that she prepares in the trailer is a very well-known recipe, which we already found on cooking blogs around ten years ago. Today, we also find a lot of them on TikTok, for example.

Was Meghan Markle’s new series filmed in her Montecito home?

Finally, many Internet users have also compared With Love, Meghan has Emma’s Kitchena cooking show presented by Emma Weymouth and broadcast on YouTube. The duchess’s program would have been greatly inspired by it, with some going so far as to accuse her of plagiarism.

It remains to be seen whether the Duchess of Sussex will offer more original and creative recipes in her series. Because, we remind you, these accusations of plagiarism are only based on the trailer. See you from January 15 to find out.
