In an interview with “TV Mag”, Karine Le Marchand told a surprising anecdote. One day, the host made fun of her colleague Faustine Bollaert, going so far as to make her cry!
“I made a little joke which was not mean in my eyes, but it upset her,” remembers Karine Le Marchand, when “TV Mag” asks her about Faustine Bollaert.
At the time, the leading figure of “L’Amour est dans le Pré” hosted a show called “Ca va fait masculine”. Faustine Bollaert – recently elected, for the second year in a row, the French’s favorite TV personality – was a columnist on the said show.
However, the latter came to present her column with a sequined dress, remembers Karine Le Marchand: “The guest was Gérard Darmon and she told him that she had dressed up as candy for him. I made fun of her dress. She didn’t say anything but, at the end of the show, she left crying.”
Fortunately, the story does not end there. Karine Le Marchand went to apologize directly, she assures, adding that she does not know if the star host of “It starts today” remembers the episode, which took place during their very first meeting. “We have seen each other several times at M6, we live in the same neighborhood and we send each other messages regularly. I really like Faustine,” she concludes.
So no hard feelings between these two, who have successfully charted their course both on television and in the hearts of viewers.
Karine Le Marchand comes in third place in the ranking of the French’s favorite TV personalities. In second place is Nikos Aliagas.
“When I started, it was predominantly male. The people who were at the top of this survey in recent years tended to be hosts of entertainment, particularly games broadcast daily. Faustine is there every day in the hearts of the French, in the afternoon. She supports social problems and she is a woman who is very attentive to people’s daily lives,” adds the host.
