Since October 22, 2023Laurence Boccolini presents the cult show “The Children of TV”on France 2. A program presented in the past by Arthur and Laurent Ruquier and which has celebrated its thirtieth anniversary this year. But now, in 2025, the 61-year-old host will no longer be content to hold the reins of this box, every Sunday, late afternoon. Indeed, a great project is coming. The emblematic presenter of “Maillon Faible” on TF1 will return to her first love. From the new year, she will present a cult game from French television.
The announcement was made on December 30, in a press release published by France Télévisions. The public service group announced the return of “Password” from January. “After winning the hearts of viewers, Password returns in a modernized and even more dynamic versionin the form of a short program: Password, the duel”announced the channel. Discontinued in 2021, the concept will not change. “Every week, two candidates will compete in the company of personalities (…) to try to qualify for the final on Friday and leave with the jackpot”.
In order to bring together the maximum number of viewers, it was necessary a strong figure to take over from Patrick Sabatier . He hosted the show from 2009 to 2016. It was therefore Willow’s mother who was chosen. “Choose” or rather “resumed” since it had already briefly tried the exercise during the 2020/2021 season.

“Password, the duel” will be broadcast from Monday to Friday, between 9 p.m. and 9:10 p.m., starting January 20. A joy for Laurence Boccolini who rushed to post a message on her Instagram account where she let her joy burst forth. Alongside a photo of the show’s logo, Mickaël Fakaïlo’s ex (Miss Tahiti, editor’s note) wrote his few words: “But PASSWORD comes back??? And with me too??? Happy!!!!“wrote the pretty blonde.
