This Friday, December 20, Adèle Exarchopoulos and Souheila Yacoub were guests on the show C to you presented by Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine on France 5 for the last one of the year. The two actresses are starring in the futuristic thriller Planet B which will be released in theaters on Christmas Day. In this science fiction film where young people face climate collapse, they pay tribute to famous activists. “It also talks about the invisible and the modern heroes, that is to say Camille Étienne, Greta Thunberg and many others who made this fight visible, digestible, accessible for my generation”, explained Adèle Exarchopoulos. Always ready to defend causes on the big screen, the actress is however less excited about the idea of crossing the Atlantic for a role.

On the set of C to youAdèle Exarchopoulos returned to her role in the American film The Last Face by Sean Penn in which she opposite Javier Bardem. An experience that did not make him want a Hollywood career. “Of course, I want things that I don't know, I want big roles, I want interesting scenarios. But not necessarily in America, I fantasize as much about Iranian cinema as Hollywood”she confided. “I don't have an obsession because I have certain friends who go through these experiences like Souheila in Dune et it’s also still a sacrifice for your family“she explained about her fear of “price to pay” while she is the mother of a seven-year-old boy before adding: “Being at the service of a huge production is a dream where you have to live up to it. It’s not at all the same system as France.”

During her dinner with Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine and her team, Adèle Exarchopoulois revealed her pleasure in coupling on set. “It’s super exciting to do your own stunts, to shoot”she admitted. “I didn't think at all that I was going to like shooting guns, it was even something where I found that you have power that disgusted me. And I found myself loving shooting snipers”she revealed regarding the filming of the film Thieves released on Netflix in 2023.
