Ten candidates competed in the final Friday evening on M6, in front of the jury and in front of the viewers who elected their favorite candidate. The big winner of the 2024 edition is the magician Mathieu Stepson.

Magic can have an old, old-fashioned and outdated image. Mathieu Stepson succeeds in dusting off the discipline. He lives magic
At 38 years old, Mathieu Stepson is experiencing magic. He performs as a professional magician in private events, galas or family celebrations throughout France. His love of magic came to him in fourth grade when he received a magic box. As a teenager, he dreamed of being either a magician or a crepe maker. He also worked for 6 years in a creperie in! Normandy.

The four members of the jury paid compliment after compliment throughout Mathieu Stepson's career. “You have the intelligence to look for something that others don’t have,” assured him Eric Antoine, magician and juror. “It takes us on, it’s modern, it takes us somewhere else,” admitted Marianne James, who is resistant to magic.
A former candidate from the show
Winner in 2024, Mathieu Stepson had already participated in “France has incredible talent” in 2017. He was eliminated in the semi-final with a remote magic number, by telephone. His time there allowed him to create a company, create the show “Unpredictable” and experience magic. The Covid-19 period had unfortunately put a damper on his projects.
Booder's helping hand
For the first quarter-final of “France has incredible talent”, comedian Booder joined the jury for one evening and had a crush on Mathieu Stepson's performance by sending him to the semi-final thanks to the golden buzzer.
He did a magic trick on U2
For several years, Mathieu Stepson exercised his talents in Courchevel in winter and in Saint-Tropez in summer. One summer day, a magician friend asked him to replace him for a performance. “I fell in the middle of Bono’s birthday from the group U2,” he says in the Norman media Le Pays d’Auge.
Winning “France has incredible talent” allows Mathieu Stepson to pocket a check for 100,000 euros. The first dates of his tour in 2025 are known: Muret (31) on March 29, Limeil Brévannes (94) on May 18, Courchevel (73) on August 5 and Gisort (27) on October 11. There is no doubt that after his victory, the number of dates will quickly increase.
