Recently met at the premiere of Lyne Charlebois’ film, Tell me why these things are so beautifulin which she plays the character of Rita Simard, a friend of Marcelle Gauvreau (played by Mylène Mackay), Rachel shared the wonderful news:
«I just had a baby. I had a little girl named Françoise.“, reveals the little one’s mother Lévysix years old, at the magazine Featured Echoes.
In addition to her new maternal responsibilities, Rachel is not slowing down professionally. She begins filming a new series in August and has a directing project in the works.
«I’m starting to shoot a series in August that hasn’t been announced yet and I have another directing project. I have a three-month-old baby, so I’m writing with her next to me. My children live with a mother who does all sorts of things and they don’t lack love. I’ve had producers who were super accommodating. I feel like saying that it should be normal, but I want to emphasize that people have allowed me to live my motherhood the way I wanted and it’s important to say that it’s possible. You have the right to live your motherhood without working. It takes as much guts to say that as it does to say that you want to work!»
