They are still in love after 30 years. This Friday, June 28, Zinedine Zidane and his wife Véronique celebrated their pearl wedding anniversary with a very special wedding ceremony. For the occasion, the wife and mother of the family was dressed in an immaculate white wedding dress, while the former footballer had donned a tuxedo of the same shade, topped with a bow tie.

If the Zidane clan appears in black suits in the first photos, the couple’s sons also enjoyed a lazy day, playing pétanque, surrounded by their loved ones. Note that Zinedine and Véronique Zidane had 4 sons together: Enzo (29 years old), Luca (26 years old), Théo (22 years old) and Elyaz (18 years old). The first was visibly missing on this day of ceremony. The one who follows in his father’s footsteps gave birth, a month ago, to twin girls (Giulia and Kaia), from his union with Karen Gonçalves. His new fatherhood may be one of the reasons for his absence.

Véronique and Zinedine Zidane met in 1989, when the latter was attending the Rosella Hightower School of Dance in Cannes. At the time, she was staying at the Foyer des Jeunes Travailleurs in Salon-de-Provence, where she spoke to the future football star for the first time. It was love at first sight and the couple finally got married on May 28, 1994, in Bordeaux. Véronique Zidane chose to put her family at the center of her priorities and abandoned her professional projects to fully follow her husband and children in their careers.
