RTL GUEST – Kate Middleton: “Health remains the only bulwark, the last bastion of their intimacy”, believes Isabelle Rivère

Three months ago, the whole world discovered the news of Kate Middleton’s cancer in a video posted on the social networks of the Prince and Princess of Wales. Since then, no more sound, no more image. But a few days ago, she made her big comeback in public during the military parade organized on the occasion of the birthday of King Charles III.

An outing which partly reassures about his state of healthaccording to Isabelle Rivère, Windsor family specialist and guest on RTL this Thursday, June 27. “The news we have is the news she herself gave in mid-June when she announced her participation in Trooping the Colour, the official birthday of her father-in-law, King Charles III. She said that there were good days and bad days, that on the good days, she managed to lead a fairly normal daily life. (…) It must be recognized that on June 15, during the Trooping the Colour parade and throughout the festivities, she still amazed everyone“, analyzes Isabelle Rivère, who contributed to the special edition of Parisian on the Princess of Wales, Kate, her story.

Since the announcement of his illness, there has been no no details on the nature of the cancer of the Princess of Wales. “We must nevertheless put ourselves in the shoes of the members of this family whose life is nevertheless overexposed and whose health ultimately remains the only bulwark, the last bastion of their privacyof their private life, which must still be preserved”, believes Isabelle Rivère.

How do the press and the subjects in Great Britain react to this silence around the illness of Kate Middleton, but also of King Charles III? “I believe that the successive announcements of the illness of the king and of Kate’s illness have provoked all the same a huge shock (…) in the opinion. And so, respect is very greatespecially since King Charles III started working again very quickly and British public opinion also sees that Kate, as soon as she can, is returning to the public stage,” explains the specialist.
