Chantal Lacroix shares a poignant message in which she opens up about her skin condition on the sidelines of her documentary series which will be rebroadcast in August as well as on World Vitiligo Day.
It’s on his page Instagram that the host shared a magnificent photo where she is completely naked taken under the artistic eye of the photographer Julie Artachoall accompanied by the inspiring message.
“(…) Four years ago I undertook a quest for well-being which was the subject of a documentary series entitled Now or neverwhich will also be rebroadcast at Canal Life, on August 5. In this series, I accepted under the artistic eye of the photographer Julie Artacho to pose nude. I dared to embrace my difference. I dared to demonstrate that all bodies are beautiful and that the more we display different bodies, the more it will become normal. There vitiligo day is an opportunity to raise awareness and recognition of this skin condition which, I hope one day, will be recognized as an autoimmune disease. For those affected, each day can be a challenge to overcome that often involves a complex emotional process. This may mean facing curious looks, insensitive remarks, or unwarranted prejudice from others. However, it can also mark the beginning of a journey towards self-acceptance, self-confidence and valuing one’s own singular beauty. I want to believe that each white spot is a unique part of the story of the person who wears it. In this quest for acceptance, it is essential to remember that true beauty does not lie in conforming to traditional standards of perfection, but in the diversity and authenticity of each individual,” she opened, encouraging everyone to love each other despite the difference.
