On Sunday August 18, Alain Delon is dead at the age of 88. The last sacred monster of French cinema leaves behind his three children, Anouchka, Anthony and Alain-Fabien Delon. A year before his disappearance, his illegitimate son, Ari Boulogne, also lost his life at the age of 60.
On Thursday, November 14, Alain Delon's biographer, Bernard Violet, unveiled a work entitled “The last Delon mysteries. All his secrets revealed” (Ed. Robert Laffont). The day before his release, he confided in Parisian and notably mentioned family life of the actor.
Ari Boulogne would be “the natural son” from the actor
Last September, journalist Philippe Durant said to himself “convinced” that Ari Boulogne was not the son of Alain Delon. According to him, the Greek singer Nikos Papatakis
was Nico's lover (Ari Boulogne's mother) and would be his biological father. Questioned about this theory, Bernard Violet indicated: “I don't believe this thesis”.
For Alain Delon's biographer, the photographer is good son. Indeed, Alain Delon would have spent several nights with Nico, in December 1961, “nine months before Ari's birth”. Proven facts that leave no room for doubt for Bernard Violet. “My conviction is that the boy, whom I had met at length, is indeed his natural son. The son sacrificed by an autocrat who became a star” he explained.
Alain Delon's mother raised her illegitimate son
In addition to mentioning Alain Delon's illegitimate son, Bernard Violet spoke about the links between the actor and his motherEdith Boulogne. According to him, it was a “loving, but vain and possessive mother”. She also wanted “build a universe exclusively shared with his son”.
Édith Boulogne was convinced that Ari Boulogne was the son of Alain Delon. She therefore decided to raise him and her husband, Paul Boulogne, agreed to adopt him in 1977. A decision which then had repercussions: “By adopting Ari, Édith Boulogne also carried out a real kidnapping and interfered in the private life of her favorite son” said the biographer. A situation experienced as a real betrayal by the Cheetah.
