Sunday November 17, 2024, the Bar-grocery store The Lanmodez Relay (Côtes-d’Armor) will celebrate its third birthday.

Why the specific choice of three years?

The banker told us: “the milestone to pass is 3 years! » The milestone has passed, it was in June 2021, the start of the Relay adventure…

This anniversary will also be an opportunity to take a look at the past, to take stock of these three years. It hasn't always been easy, but exceptional energy was deployed in this adventure, and new ideas emerged.

150 members

The Relay is 150 members500 people who are regularly informed by the newsletter.

During this anniversary day, residents will make a foray into the memory of the place.

It was the time of Yves Capitaine, the mayor and general councilor, two archive films from FR3 will be screened where we will see the mayor of the time talking about local commerce and its social issues, the role of local business in a small town.

Le Relais is not a café like any other.

The Presqu'île is landlocked, it is a destination café, different from a passing café. We come there because we want to take part in the activities.

For the screenings among others, people come from Paimpol and elsewhere. Readings and testimonies from people of the Presqu'île are planned for this festive meeting.

And little booklet will be available, made from texts produced by the writing workshop. It's new! On the Bar floor, there is a room which will be used to screen films and present photo exhibitions; it can accommodate 19 people.

The birthday program

• From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., farmers market and grocery store suppliers, tasting of local products; at 11 a.m., performance by the Relais choir, a young choir.
• From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., karaoke surprise with Hélène, Chantal, Pascal and Lucette Roland. A moment will also be devoted to the speaking of the co-administrators: Marielle Aynaud, Manola Izaute, Maryse Bachet, Sylvie Durand, Hélène Méar and Chantta Mabila. François Marlier, project manager, played an important role in the technical support of the team, will be present to discuss this dynamic.
• At 12 p.mrestoration. In the afternoon, tasting and sale of crepes.
• From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.drawing of the tombola. Without forgetting the famous Relais du Relais in the village, with 1,000 laps, for the benefit of the SNSM.
• At 5 p.m, musique with the Whip band (concert), it is the orchestra of the Paimpol music school, on the momentum, entertainment with the Breton dance group from Lanmodez.
• At 5:30 p.mwe can swap your prizes if they are not suitable for people around the birthday cake with the three candles. But also the apron parade du Relais which were made by the Relais couture workshop.
• Throughout the day, catering and delicacies.
