Adeline Toniutti reveals her singing secrets

This project dates from a very long time ago. (…) It was very innovative to work with lots of specialists, because I think that the more specialists we have, the better we will be at accompanying the singers. I started writing it five years ago and really got active three years ago. Between my trips back and forth to the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys, between Dancing with the Stars I finished this book. I start the introduction by saying that this is my will. If I die tomorrow, the keys to singing are there“, the former teacher told us Star Academy.

Adeline Toniutti masters this subject perfectly, particularly because of a tragedy she experienced. She was in fact the victim of a domestic accident which burned her vocal cords. And, despite being told she would never be able to sing again, she fought back and proved them wrong. Since then, she has been even more focused on helping others. “The voice is still an instrument that is invisible. It's very complicated to know how to use it and, above all, to find it when you lose it. Given my vocal cord injury, I underwent extensive rehabilitation. I have also re-educated hundreds of singers and I wanted there to be a trace somewhere of this vocal technique, this method and all this knowledge that we have collected“, she continued. And to specify that in Anatomy of singingwe also find what she did at the Star Academy.
