After his long rant against the production and the Star Academy tour, Djebril unveiled a vlog of the concert in Bercy. A video in which the candidate does not hesitate to testify to his state and his fed up.
The adventure is soon coming to an end. If the castle of Dammarie-lès-Lys closed its doors last February, the adventure Star Academy has not yet closed. Barely had Pierre Garnier’s coronation been pronounced when the seven selected academicians – Axel, Julien, Candice, Héléna, Djebril, Lénie and Pierre – launched into the big tour of the show. It was during nearly 75 sold-out dates that the candidates set out to meet their audience. But this enormous success comes at a price… And not all candidates are, it seems, ready to pay it.
Djebril weighs in on unequal treatment on the Star Academy tour
Since several weeks, ex-academics seem more exhausted than ever. Pierre fell ill again, forcing him to miss the tour once again; Lénie confided that she was forced to swallow numerous pills to overcome her fatigue; Candice had to slow down the pace of publishing her vlogs to give herself more rest. And lately Djebril revealed that he could no longer do it at all. Not only is the young man tired, but he would not benefit from the same treatment as his comrades.
In a long Instagram post, after the long-awaited concert at the Accor Arena in Paris, Djebril revealed the dark behind the scenes of the tour Star Academy. A testimony that some of his acolytes, like Candice or Axel, seemed to corroborate while others were content to give him all their support. Help which, unfortunately, does not seem to be enough.

Djebril did not hide his fatigue. In a long video revealed on YouTube, this Tuesday, June 18, the candidate documents his preparation for Bercy but also behind the scenes of the event. If Djebril tries to emphasize camaraderie, impossible to forget his testimony. The singer also refers to it several times. When his camerawoman asks him how he feels, Djebril responds simply: “The mood is tired, exhausted”. And, at the end of the vlog, exhausted from the concert and struggling to keep smiling, he confides relieved: “It’s the end of a cycle”. It’s time for the concert page to be turned.
