INTERVIEW – Classical virtuoso and pop artist publishes The Mirror Hour, an unprecedented encounter between their two worlds. A dreamlike journey that they take on tour from June 26.

A moment suspended between dream and reality… This is how the classical guitarist Thibault Cauvin, who made himself known at the age of 20 during a tour around the world which took him to more than one hundred and twenty countries, and the star of pop Matthieu Chedid, alias -M-, imagined The Mirror Hour. Reference to blue hour: uncertain period between day and night when colors merge. As their guitars and their universes merge, in this demanding and singular album which is released today by Labo M, composed of pure instrumental covers of -M- titles, but also of nods to the classical universe, of song or rock, from which they draw their roots. An instrumental journey, but above all melodic, in which they intend to take all audiences on a vast tour throughout France, which will take them from the Théâtre antique de Vaison-la-Romaine to the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, in Paris.
