TV presenters have fulfilled their civic duty.

This Sunday, Belgians are called to the polls for the federal, regional and European elections. An important moment that certain personalities wanted to immortalize, whether in the line at the polling station, with their summons, or in the voting booth (even if it is prohibited). Their objective, obviously? Remind their many subscribers to vote.
Among the people who took the risk of taking photos in the voting booth, we will cite RTBF presenter Sara de Paduwa or RTL journalist Thomas de Bergeyck.

The faces of RTL Info Caroline Fontenoy and Michaël Miraglia also called on their subscribers to make their voices heard. Special mention to Luc Gilson who managed to combine Father’s Day and civic duty in his Instagram story.

RTL presenters Sandrine Corman and Laura Beyne, for their part, photographed their summons on the way to the polling station.
Finally, Jill Vandermeulen, aka Silent Jill, told her followers on Instagram that she had voted for the first time by taking “the time to carefully analyze the different parties, the programs and the values that they wish to defend”. The former RTL presenter admits to having never really been interested in politics during previous elections. “Better late than never #shame,” she wrote.
