This Thursday, October 17, 2024, One Direction fans have learned of the death of the boy band’s former singer, Liam Payne. Indeed, the day before, the lifeless body of the 31-year-old musician was found outside his hotel in Buenos Aires, after having fallen several dozen meters. In his room, several drug paraphernalia had been discovered.
The autopsy carried out established that the singer had, due to his fall, suffered “multiple traumas” et
“internal and external bleeding” who caused the death, according to a press release from the prosecutor’s office.

A few hours later, One Direction released a statement paying tribute to Liam Payne:
stating to be “completely devastated” by the death of their comrade, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan wanted to send a moving message: “Now we will take time to grieve after the death of our brother, whom we loved dearly. We will miss him terribly. We love you Liam”.
On social media, the band members all posted an emotional message about the death of Liam Payne.

Starting with Louis Tomlinson who revealed a photo of his friend with this text: “I am beyond devastated to write this, but yesterday I lost a brother. Liam was someone I looked up to every day, such a positive, funny and kind soul”he writes.
“I first met Liam when he was 16 and I was 18, I was instantly amazed by his voice but more importantly, over time I got the chance to see the nice brother I had wanted all my life”.
Zayn Malik published a photo of himself and younger Liam Payne. “I will never forget how much you supported me”he writes in a moving text. As for Harry Styles, the young singer says he is devastated by the death of his friend. “His joy of living made others happy”, recognizes the young singer. Now, the former members of One Direction must lick their wounds.
