Angoulême: exhibition and architectural advice, this weekend, at the Champ-de-Mars

The exhibition “Contemporary Architectures and Landscapes of Charente” was created last year. It presents several creations by Charente architects. “Projects that are done from right to left are little known by the public,” underlines Frédérique Bua, one of the organizers.

This year, the panels were supplemented by a second section on stone projects. “We hardly build in stone anymore even though the quality resource exists in Charente, and it has many advantages,” regrets the member of Archi 16. Let’s ask ourselves the question. » This section compiles local works. Individual house in Gond-Pontouvre, stone and concrete block on Rue de in Angoulême, wall of the Villebois-Lavalette media library…

Good plan for individuals wishing to build or renovate, the architects present offer their advice. “We can discuss the project, give the right direction,” explains Frédérique Bua. “Explain how to do things in order,” adds his colleague Cécile Bouillon. Come with documents (plan, photos, sketches) of the site.

The exhibition is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. At 4, place du Champ-de-Mars. Free.
