After the announcement of the concert by rapper S.Pri Noir, the organization of Ban de la Distillation de Cognac (Charente) recently announced the arrival of another celebrity well known to the general public. It is about comedian Élie Semoun. The actor will be the ambassador of the second edition of this event.
Élie Semoun will therefore open the festival, on Friday October 25 next in a distillery. Élie Semoun wanted to participate in this event as a defender of “French know-how”. HAS one week of the launch of the Ban de la Distillationwe know a little more about the programming of this event.
In total, 42 events will take place throughout the Grand Cognac territory during the two days of the festival.
Numerous conferences and workshops in the distilleries
The Ban de la Distillation is the way to discover a whole range of know-how, that of the Cognac sector, from production to sale, everything will be explained to you during the various events organized in the different distilleries in the region.
Several participatory workshops will also take place. Experts will share their knowledge on the different stages of distillationbarrel aging techniques, and the history and culture that surrounds this iconic spirit. Additionally, artistic exhibitions and documentary screenings will offer an enriching insight into the impact of cognac in local and international heritage.
