Twenty-two years later Three zeroshis comedy about football, director Fabien Onteniente takes us back into the world of football with the feature film Four zeros. The feature film is a continuation of the previous one and allows us to find a tasty lineup of actors with as many well-felt punchlines about the world of this sport. Certainly, the France of 2024 is no longer that of 2002 but Alain Colonna, still played by Gérard Lanvin, still has the same charisma and the same chatter. Who better than the players of the French team themselves to enjoy a preview of this new film from the man to whom we owe the saga Camping ? Good humor was in order this October 8, 2024 at Clairefontaine for a special screening! Between two football matches, the Blues were able to relax with the screening of Four Zeros in the presence of director Fabien Onteniente and his actors Shy’m and Gérard Lanvin. The latter, his arm immobilized by a splint – nothing serious but he is in rehabilitation after a shoulder operation – took a pose with the players and their boss, a certain Didier Deschamps. The two stars are very close and delighted to be together for a joyful cinema session in the auditorium usually used for the press conference. No pressure, no controversy this time, but a film to relax and unite. The French team and the film team also posed together for a warm collegiate photo. For the director, this is the most joyful screening he has experienced in a long time!
This exceptional audience seemed shy at first but once the film started, it was laughter that dominated, confided Fabien Onteniente who underlined the extent to which the young athletes relaxed. He added that footballers, like Ousmane Dembélé, embraced this comedy and did not fail to react when seeing football legends such as Raï or Marquinhos on the screen. A masculine atmosphere, certainly, but not enough to scare the star of the song who enjoys more and more as an actress. In jeans and endless boots, Shy’m, real name Tamara Marthe, has character and fits easily into the football conversations of the day. She was able to chat with influential members of the sport, such as Guy Stephan, Pierre-Louis Arnal, Olivier Delbosc and Philippe Diallo.
A sequel to Three Zeros for Fabien Onteniente
The world of football has changed and this is what Fabien Onteniente has decided to portray in his latest film. Obviously a different shoot from that of Three Zerosthe world of cinema is less familial and artisanal and the producers “à la Claude Berri” who take risks are no more, but the pleasure of comedy and football which mixes remains intact. A feature film that wants to laugh at football and its failings without malice but also pay homage to it, like the cinema of Fabien Onteniente, always popular and respectful of the people and subject he brings to the screen.
The previews all over France that the director attended proved that he was right. This France that laughs together, all generations combined, is there and has a full house.
