Etrat La Tour Sportif and Roannais Foot 42 obtained their ticket for the sixth round against FC Limonest Saint Didier (N3) and Montluçon Foot (R1). AS Savigneux Montbrison eliminated after penalties.
Three Loire teams were on the field this evening for the fifth round of the Coupe de France.
The Stratiens opened the scoring through Msiah after five minutes of play. It was not until the hour mark that the home scorer doubled the lead. A double which allows Fred Renaudier’s men to continue the adventure in the Coupe de France.
In the north of the department, the Roannais opened the scoring after five minutes through Royer. The residents of R1 equalized on the hour mark. Defender Dru gave his team the advantage a quarter of an hour from the end of the match. Faure added a third goal at the end of the match. Like last season, the Roannais will be in the sixth round of the competition
After conceding the opener at the start of the second half, Ducher equalized five minutes later. Jean Michel Rabhi’s men hit the crossbar five minutes from the end of the match. The penalty shootout was fatal for the Montbrisonnais.
