Marie Portolano, who took over from Julia Vignali at the presentation of the show, was to be replaced after her departure for France Télévisions last year… the news has fallen, and it is surprising: Laëtitia Milot.
Actress recognized in particular for her role in More beautiful lifethe young woman embarked on the adventure to support the duo composed of Cyril Lignac and Mercotte in a new castle, that of Ormesson in Val-de-Marne.
On site, 14 amateur pastry chefs from France and Belgium, including Christelle from Le Cannet, will have to compete in technique and creativity to seduce the jury and impress the biggest names in French pastry.
The Azuréenne Christelle, mother of a 15-year-old teenager and interior decorator in life, puts the aesthetics and her love of taste linked to her profession into her cakes. Passionate about flea markets, she loves bargain hunting and will do everything to complete the competition because she defines herself as a warriorenough to seduce the new mistress of ceremonies of the place.
A first at the presentation
For Laëtitia Milot, this great first in animation was unexpected. “When I was called, my first instinct was to wonder if the production had got the wrong person”rembobine-t-elle.
“And finally, the production explained to me that they were looking for an actress and not a presenter to embody the program. I start each show with a written sketch, which I perform with Mercotte, that sets the scene. It’s true that the exercise scared me a little at first and then I quickly put myself in my new shoes, I was able to understand my role. The advantage was that I didn’t have to. Fearing cameras is something familiar to me.”

No problem with the cameras, the pressure, the game, on the other hand, it is rather the candidates who impressed Laëtitia Milot. “It’s an incredible human experience, I met the cream of amateur pastry chefs and I remained natural with them, we exchanged, we talked, I was a real support and I liked it as a role.”
The actress confesses to having had a lot of fun on the set and insists on the fact that it was a trio who provided the entertainment, understanding the importance of Cyril Lignac and Mercotte.
“It’s not me who brings novelty, it’s our trio, it brings lightness”concludes the one who was able to measure its popularity with the candidates. “I had the feeling that my presence reassured them, I was a familiar face somewhere,” continues the one who is teeming with projects (family diary, children’s story, “Lily and the Magic Tree”, inspired by her daughter, etc.).

The show will continue to welcome its share of renowned pastry chefs, from Yu Tanaka to Aurélien Cohen, including Noémie Honiat, Pierre Hermé, Nina Métayer and Etienne Leroy.
