Bernard Hill was born in Manchester on December 17, 1944. First a television actor in England in a TV film by Mike Leigh, “Hard Labor”, audiences saw him for a decade in British series. He then decided to launch into the seventh art, with participations in “Gandhi” (1982) by Richard Attenborough, and especially in ” A Midsummer Night’s dream ” (1999) by Michael Hoffman.
