No season 2 for Brocéliande ?

While episodes 5 and 6, which conclude the story, are broadcast this Monday, September 30, 2024, Nolwenn Leroy did not hide the fact that she was not very motivated by the idea of a sequel. Asked by TF1 subscribers about the possibility of a season 2, the new actress confessed: “I don’t know if it’s always appropriate to go further.“
According to her, even though the plot seems to be wrapped up in six episodes, it would take a golden idea to succeed in making the return of this universe credible: “The plot really needs to lend itself to it and tell yourself that you hold something very strong“. And to clarify with a laugh: “It’s up to you to tell me at the end of season 1. If you have any ideas, I’d be curious.“. A way of suggesting that it will be complicated to convince her to come back…
Enough to understand that a season 2 therefore seems impossible for Brocéliande ? In reality, it’s difficult to say. Where Nolwenn Leroy’s position is perfectly understood, this vision could clash with that of the leaders. And for good reason, you should know that the first two evenings reserved for the series brought together an average of 4.5 million viewers and 4.4 million fans.
Very high audience scores, which notably enabled TF1 to beat M6 and Love is in the meadow. Suffice it to say that with such success, the chain’s managers could logically be tempted to continue the adventure…
