The new Skoda products in 2025, an electric and undoubtedly epic program

After renewing its thermal range in 2024, the Czech manufacturer will now focus on electric in 2025. And it could also do well. We explain why.

Of the brands of the giant Volkswagen, Skoda is undoubtedly one of those which is doing the most. It’s simple, it is after VW the second most important brand of the group in terms of volumes, ahead of Audi , Seat or even Cupra. Last month, it even did better than Renault, Peugeot or BMW and finished in third position in Europe behind VW (still) and Toyota.

A remarkable performance that it owes to all its models. Only sales of the Enyaq coupe have fallen somewhat since the start of the year. All other models are in the green. Hat ! And if the coupe version of the SUV mentioned is in a bit of difficulty, the classic Enyaq is selling well, very well for an electric model. In November, it was the second best-selling zero-emission vehicle on the Old Continent.

Another element explains this success, almost the entire range has recently been revised (the Kamiq, Karoq, Octavia and Scala have been restyled, the Kodiaq and the Superb have been renewed). As for the older Fabia, it is still a hit (+26% and almost 100,000 units sold). In short, everything is going well for Skoda. And the 2025 vintage should help it gain ground with the arrival of many accessible electric models!

An update for the Enyaq

We were just talking about him, the Enyaq will soon benefit from a mid-career update which we had a glimpse of recently. It’s simple, stylistically, he will completely overhaul his muzzle to adopt the features of the Elroq. We also know – but it is more anecdotal – that a new green shade will appear in the color chart. The simple stylistic changes have made it possible, according to the brand, to improve autonomy but we can imagine something new on a technical level.

And as expected, the restyled Skoda Enyaq will get the ball rolling for this year 2025. The reveal will take place this Wednesday, January 8. The electric SUV will be accompanied by the Coupé version.

Arrival of the Skoda Elroq in dealerships

If the Enyaq was popular despite its dimensions (at 4.65 m, it is larger than a Peugeot 3008 and its 4.54 m) and its prices, which are necessarily a little high (from €53,570), none doubt that the more compact and more accessible Elroq should appeal more (4.49 m, from €33,300). Especially since he has other arguments to put forward, as we were able to see recently behind the wheel.

He will do his entry into dealerships in March. Orders are already open. Even with the large 85 kWh battery allowing it to approach 600 km of autonomy and in high finish, this Elroq does not exceed €45,000.

Skoda Epiq launched

The most interesting thing in all this, at least for all those who want to go electric but are still held back by the prices, is that Skoda is planning a third zero-emission model in 2025. This small SUV, approximately 4.10 m long (barely larger than a Renault Clio) but announced as much more roomy (490 liters of trunk volume compared to 391 liters at best for the French) could play havoc. parties in the category. It will be “priced at around €25,000excluding subsidies” to use the terms of the press release introducing its name and its look dating from last March.

€25,000 will be the base price of the Renault 5 Five, a less spacious car. The Renault 4 will start at under €30,000. The Citroën ë-C3 does a little better (€23,300) but, for barely more money, you will have a more versatile vehicle. Obviously, let’s wait to know its detailed characteristics, the power of its engine, its autonomy in this €25,000 version (it will be around 400 km on the most efficient model), but it is assured that this urban SUV will help to democratize electricity.

It will have an equivalent at Cupra, the Raval, but also at Volkswagen, with the ID.2. All three will be produced in Spain. Normally, it is the Cupra model (the brand managing operations on the other side of the Pyrenees) which should have the premiere but the Epiq could follow quickly afterwards to a start of production in 2026on imagine.
