Do you sometimes want to be the most powerful person in the world? Then a car made for your delusions of grandeur will soon be on sale. In this case, it is the limousine of one of the most popular former presidents of the United States: Bill Clinton.
More precisely, it is one of the three cars that were ordered during his inauguration, for 2 million dollars each. With only 627 miles (about 1,000 km) on the odometer, this one was probably used less than the others by the good Bill, but it is the only one offered to the public, one being at the Clinton museum, and the the latter still in the possession of the CIA.
Armor and a V8
However, this car is equipped exactly like the others. In addition to the roof raised by 5 cm, we will mention the armored windows of 5 cm, the bases protected against explosives (level B6 for connoisseurs), oxygen supply and fire-fighting system inside, communication system with the exterior, state-of-the-art multimedia system (in 1996), and of course a good big 7.5 liter V8 with around 450 hp. However, there is no mention of a cigar box in the equipment list.
The Mecum Auction site, which will offer the car at the annual sale in Kissemmee, Florida, on January 18, does not announce any estimate.
