During WWE SmackDown on January 3, 2025, the Superstars faced each other on an unusual, entirely blue ring mat. SmackDown won’t be the only show to get a new ring mat.
According to Fightful, a few hours before SmackDown, a black ring mat was installed. This mat featured various sponsors, including a Fortnite logo where the Prime logo was before. Two of the corners of the ring featured the logo of Riyadh Season, while the other two corners featured that of Real American Beer, Hulk Hogan’s brand.
That’s not all since two Cricket logos, a Snickers logo and a Netflix logo were also present on this ring mat. Although Fightful has not confirmed if this mat will be used for WWE RAW, the idea has been discussed as a possibility.
