With 10 new summer lines departing from Paris Orly and the regions, Transavia is strengthening its offer to the Mediterranean basin and major European cities. An ambitious strategy that combines accessibility and new discoveries.
Summer 2025 promises to be rich in possibilities for travelers from France. Transavia is intensifying its development with 10 new summer routes to new European destinations, while strengthening its regional presence. “We are excited to expand our network for next summer.”, announces Nicolas Hénin, deputy general director of Transavia France. In a context of sustained demand, our six bases are consolidating with new travel opportunities for destinations that smell like vacations.” The low-cost subsidiary of the Air France-KLM group also continues its development in the Mediterranean basin and offers new travel opportunities at affordable prices from Lyon, Nantes, Marseille, Montpellier and Bastia.
Heading for major European cities

Transavia is also expanding its network to capitals still little explored by the French:
Paris-Orly – Sofia : the Bulgarian capital, rich in history and culture, will be accessible with several flights per week from April 2025.
Paris-Orly – Chisinau : this new connection to Moldova, known for its picturesque landscapes and vineyards, will begin in July 2025.
These destinations reflect the company’s desire to expand its offering to Eastern Europe, a region still under-explored by major airlines.

Opportunities for all regions
Transavia is also continuing its development from its regional bases in Lyon and Nantes. Three new lines have been announced: residents of Nantes will be able to fly to Essaouira, in Morocco, and discover its wild beaches from July 11. Lyon, meanwhile, will be connected to the seaside resort of Paphos in Cyprus and the Mediterranean shores of Bastia in Corsica, from July 12 and 19 respectively. Finally, two new features announced:
Nantes – Tirana : heading to Albania with its beaches and mountains, with two flights per week (Thursdays and Sundays) planned from July 2025. From €56 including tax one way.
Lyon – Chania : discover Crete, with two flights per week (Thursdays and Sundays), scheduled from April 20, 2025. From €55 including tax one way.

Last call for the sun
Sunny destinations remain a pillar of Transavia’s summer offering. Departing from Marseilletravelers will be able to fly to:
Djerba : 2 two flights per week (Wednesdays and Sundays; and on
the July-August period on Tuesdays and Fridays), from €54 including tax one way.
Funchal (Madeira) : a weekly connection on Sundays to explore this unique volcanic island, from July 13, 2025. From €65 including tax one way.
Larnaca (Cyprus) : one flight per week, on Sunday, to discover the riches of the Eastern Mediterranean, from July 13, 2025. From €49 including tax one way.
With this expansion, Transavia seeks to capture ever more demanding and varied demand. Nicolas Hénin, Deputy General Director, talks about an ambitious program, but it is in the details that the promise is at stake: reinforced regional coverage and atypical destinations. Attractive fares, from €30 including tax one way, are one of the major levers of this strategy. But beyond prices, Transavia must also convince on its environmental commitment, a challenge still under construction. Carbon compensation and flight optimization remain arguments in the making, often cited but still poorly measurable for the average traveler.
