Testachats asked its members what the best supermarket in Belgium was for them. Price is not the only criterion to take into account…

Among the many major retail brands present here, which one satisfies you the most? The question, asked by the Testachats association to its members, took several criteria into account. Because in addition to the price offered on the shelves, the customer’s experience when shopping is also based on the assortment offered, the environment, the waiting time, the quality of the meat, etc.

And finally, it is Bio-planet, the organic brand of the Colruyt group, which comes at the top of the ranking, with a final score of 82/100. Colruyt and Okay follow, tied with 76/100, then Albert Heijn and Alvo (75/100), Lidl (74/100) and Aldi (72/100). The integrated Delhaize and AD received a score of 69/100, as did the Carrefour hypermarkets, while the Carrefour Markets had one point less.

Why Bio-Planet? The brand displays the best score in terms of satisfaction with the products purchased, but also the quality of the meat, the waiting time and the clarity of the prices indicated. On the other hand, when it comes to price, Bio-Planet only comes in at 7e place, the assortment offered being more expensive. On the other hand, Colruyt comes in first place in terms of prices, followed by Okay (also from the Colruyt group).
