It was announced by ESPN, Bleacher Report, The Athletic, CBS Sports, NBADraft.net and Tankathon, Bronny James should be called up in fifty-fifth by the Lakers tonight, barring a major catastrophe. A team could have fun taking the James offspring before pick 55, but it’s not really likely and above all, it makes little sense.

The James saga has had its twists and turns. Lots. There was the Suns trail after the Lakers trail. The moment when Rich Paul (LeBron James and Bronny’s agent) wanted us to believe that LeBron had given up on playing with his son. We finally saw father LeBron training with his two sons in New York. Right now, it’s really hard to imagine Bronny not being called up. with the fifthy fith pick of the 2024 NBA Draft.
After imagining a whole myriad of scenarios, each more incongruous than the last, it is the one that had been announced as the most likely that should happen tonight. There could have been confusion, Bronny could end up undrafted, but honestly we don’t really believe it. See you tonight, late at night, to certainly see a young prospect called to the Draft by his father’s franchise. We understand each other.
