This is a new investment by MSC in Southern Africa. The Geneva logistics giant, through its subsidiary Africa Global Logistics (AGL), will inject around forty million euros by 2030 to develop two Namibian ports: Walvis Bay and Lüderitz.

AGL will build a warehouse in the former and infrastructure in Lüderitz, a port located 700 km to the south, to support oil exploration, the import of wind turbines and renewable equipment, Koen Rombouts, the director announced this week General Manager of AGL for the Southern African Corridor. The company also wants to create an energy unit aimed at providing oil and gas services in Namibia.
