Does this withdrawal therefore mark the definitive end of Audi Brussels? Not necessarily. If the management of Audi Brussels seems to confirm that it is no longer looking for buyers, it would remain “available if new buyers come forward”, the unions tell us.
“We appeal to the ministers”
As a reminder, the CNE Industrie has been insistently asking, for several weeks already, that the Task Force established by the federal government invite the management of Audi Brussels to provide all the details of the 24 alternatives and especially of the 26 potential buyers who have demonstrated, in vain, in recent months. Something that Audi management has always refused until now.
Audi Brussels: “The Task Force confirmed our fears: there is no future for the site”, deplores the CNE Industrie
“She does not want a working group with experts and representatives of the current Federal Government and the trainer Bart De Wever, deplores the CNE Industrie. Since Audi does not want to provide this information to the trade union organizations, we are doing call on the Prime Minister, the Minister of Employment, the Minister of Finance and the Ministers of the federated entities to invite the management of Audi Brussels to 16 rue de la Loi.”
