Developed in the United States and Asia, the “food court” concept gained popularity in Europe from 2010, and even more so during covid. The principle? Bringing together several types of world cuisine to eat on the go under one brand, in order to offer great culinary diversity per square meter. Recently inaugurated in Geneva, Bring Eat includes ten professional kitchens covering 400 m², shared by ten entities offering their dishes only for delivery (in the city of Geneva and surrounding areas) and for takeaway via a dedicated application.

As their name suggests – Envie Vegan, Thai Exclusive, Mezze Factory, Kouskous, Fresco, Top Bun, Miushi, Francesinhas (Portuguese specialty made with sausages and cheese) – these restaurants cover the whole range of trendy dishes , from sushi to Neapolitan pizzas, including vegan, Peruvian dishes and poke bowls. In addition, Danny Khezzar, Michelin-starred chef, brings an additional gastronomic dimension by launching Katsu Sheesh in July: a range of original Japanese-inspired sandwiches made from local products.

Ten in one

“Orders are fully processed in Bring Eat’s kitchens, which reduces delivery times and improves the quality of dishes. Ideal for family or friends who want to eat different cuisines without having to endure different delivery times from several locations and paying costs several times,” notes Mehdi Devarenne, co-partner of Bring Eat and former operations manager of a delivery platform.

Around thirty salaried delivery drivers provide the service on scooters and bicycles, all electric. “We hope to minimize the environmental impact with this mode of transport, as well as eco-responsible packaging. But also thanks to our concept of pooling purchases in a single order which promotes short circuits,” notes the co-founder of this project made possible thanks to two Geneva investors (Souheil Sayegh and John Giulietti).
