Who would have imagined five years ago that Publicis Conseil, the agency created in 1926 by Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet, would be on the top step of the podium of creative agencies in the world? Before its creative awakening led since 2019 by Marco Venturelli, the agency’s register was more that of institutional and corporate campaigns, leaving Marcel the role of creative troublemaker of the group. The creative rise of Publicis Conseil has been gradual with a second place worldwide last year. This year it shone with strong campaigns based on sharp strategic planning. This is the case of PlugInn Business: a system that allows retailers and restaurateurs to make electric charging stations available to customers via an application. Equally remarkable, “Cars to work” which offers cars to unemployed people to help them find a job. However, Publicis Conseil did not overshadow Marcel, who also dominated the awards with his film on “Les Bleues” for Orange, which won the legendary Grand Prix Film.

For his part, Jacques Séguéla (90 years old), creative advisor to Havas and former vice-president of Havas Group, addressed the creative community at the Palais on Friday June 21, during the presentation of his Lion of Saint Mark: “Advertising changes every decade but one thing doesn’t change, good ideas can generate money, never the other way around. Ideas are like sperm, there are millions of them at the start but only one wins the race and gives birth to a baby idea… For this, we need courageous customers. »
