On the shores of Lake Tolerme, the Presqu’île restaurant is now open. Corinne and Nicolas, the new owners, welcomed elected officials from neighboring communities, representatives of Symlat and residents to introduce themselves and offer them a drink of friendship.

Corinne and Nicolas are respectively 55 and 57 years old. For around ten years, they have been coming on vacation to the Lot. Lovers of our region, they planned to come and live there for their retirement. Last year, they discovered Lake Tolerme and the Presqu’île restaurant which was for sale. For the couple, it’s obvious: their crush will be able to come true. Their children are grown up and they want to change careers. Corinne is a caregiver and Nicolas works in transport. They are certainly not in the profession but they have a couple of friends, restaurateurs for forty years who live 15 minutes from the lake and are ready to teach them their trade.

They will offer their customers traditional and local cuisine: duck confit, foie gras, andouillettes, artisanal ice creams… The restaurant will remain open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. until the end of August. A new adventure has just presented itself to this friendly couple. We wish them all our best wishes.
